Digital Marketing Tools
I’m still actively adding and organizing/labeling these tools and resources. I’ve been asked for a list of all the tools and software I use personally and at work so I’m throwing it up before completing the organization of everything.
Here’s a glance at what it looked like before being separated into just resources and tools:

Like I mentioned above, some of these digital marketing tools listed below weren’t created specifically for marketing purposes.
My MOST USED digital marketing tools:
- Trello – Collaborate, manage projects, and reach new productivity peaks

- Adespresso – automate testing and optimization of paid social media campaigns on facebook and instagram

- Google Search Console – Helps you measure your site’s Search traffic and performance, fix issues, and make your site shine in Google Search results

- Geru – Simulate traffic, upsells, downsells, & more. Use GERU to figure out (optimize) your funnel numbers before you build

- Google Analytics – measure your advertising ROI

- SEO Quake – a free plugin for browsers that provides you with key SEO metrics for a specific page, along with other useful tools such as SEO Audit

- Screaming SEO Frog – fast and advanced SEO site audit tool. It can be used to crawl both small and very large websites

- WordPress – Create a free website or build a blog with ease on WordPress.com. Dozens of free, customizable, mobile-ready designs and themes

- Divi Theme – A complete design framework that allows you to design and customize every part of your website from the ground up

- SimpleMind – The world leader in cross platform Mind Mapping tools

- Strategyzer – business planning and strategy

- Answer the Public – gives you popular questions to answer in your content and target keywords

- Google Keyword Planner – gives 1st party data about search volume and other metrics about keywords and phrases you’re thinking of using in marketing campaigns or content
- Keywords Everywhere – ideate and compare keywords
- Keywords Surfer – advanced version of keywords everywhere
- Google Trends – helps find and compare keywords you’re thinking of using and competing online for in SERPs
- Divi Theme – wordpress theme / site builder
- Pipedrive – crm (customer relationship management)
- Ontraport – crm, content and offer flow visualization, page / form builder, email automation
- Hubspot – crm, landing page / form builder, email automation
- WordPress – CMS (content management system), page editing and customization
- Canva – visual content (blog images, icons, logos, etc.) creation
- Clickfunnels – landing page and funnel builder (I prefer ontraport to clickfunnels because of its robustness and simplicity)
- IFTTT – integrate and automate with your most used apps (personal but has a business plan for business tools and processes)
- Zapier – same thing as above but mostly focused on business tools and processes
- IA Writer – for focused writing (lightweight, minimal, and easy to use)
- Just Press Record – (IOS only) never let a thought escape you again. Record whenever you are and wherever you are
- Otter AI – used to record and notate business / leadership meetings
- Anchor FM – used to record and distribute podcast episodes to all podcast platforms
- RescueTime – time tracking and url labeling
- Momentum – a home screen that appears whenever a browser tab gets opened on any of your devices
- Day 1 – (IOS only) my favorite journal app of any by far
- SimpleMind – a robust and highly customizable mind mapping tool for ideation, planning, organization, and visualizing any structure, process, idea, or anything else trapped in your mind
- Slack – Communicate with your team. It’s faster, better organized, and more secure than email.
- SEMRush – SEO, PPC, content, social media and competitive research.
- Ahrefs – Reveals tons of marketing opportunities in a few clicks!
- Moz – Moz builds tools that make SEO, inbound marketing, link building, and content marketing easy.
- Yoast – Helps with website optimization and SEO
- Spyfu – Exposes the search marketing secret formula of your most successful competitors
- Similar Sites – Discover the best websites and explore competitor and related sites
- Similar Web – Access behind-the-scenes analytics for every site online
- Wasp Inspector – Digital Analytics quality assurance auditing tool
- Headings Map – Generates a documentmap or index of any web document structured with headings
- Keywords Everywhere – allows access to keyword metrics for any list of keywords and lets you download the list
- Intellgynce – Shopify store & product analysis tool
- Facebook Pixel Helper – a troubleshooting tool that helps you validate your pixel implementation or see if competitors are advertising on facebook and gethering data
- G-Tag Assistant – troubleshoot installation of various Google tags including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and more
- Facebook Transparency – Provides advertising transparency by offering a comprehensive, searchable collection of all ads currently running across facebook and its pages (including competitors…). AKA you can see exactly what ads your competition is running
